There are 2 mini markets, one of them just 2 doors away and the other a 
short 5 minute walk.  Larger supermarkets Migros, Bim, 101, Carrefour 
and many more are a 5 minute taxi ride away in the center of town 
catering for everything you could wish for.  If you don’t feel like 
venturing out, there are a number of Kalkan merchants that will deliver 
everything you need at a phone call away.

The closest are in Kalkan town, an easy 20 minute stroll or a 5 minute 
taxi ride away.

Spas & Massage

Pamper yourself in some of the luxurious boutique hotels’ spas or enjoy 
a more traditional Turkish bath.  And wherever you go, there are Turkish 
barbers for the closest of shaves – an experience not to be missed!  The 
closest one is just a 5 minute walk, at the Patara Prince Resort.

Beaches & beach clubs

There are seven popular beach clubs in Kalkan, the nearest is Club Mahal 
just a few minutes downhill walk from Ketchy Villa with paved platform 
terraces and gardens offering everything from swimming and sunbathing, 
to water sports and restaurant facilities. There is a very reasonably 
priced water taxi from this Kalka Beach Club to the harbour in Kalkan which 
runs every half and hour and is a delightful way to see Kalkan from the sea.

Local Market

The weekly market, Kalkan Semt Pazarı, takes place every Thursday near 
the big Mosque across from Migros and The Junction restaurant. Filled 
with spices, fruits, vegetables as well as a selection of “designer” 
watches, handbags, clothes and electrical items. Stay refreshed with 
freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice at local stalls as you plan your 
haggling strategy.  Dont miss out the fresh farm cheeses, eggs as well 
as the freshly made Gözleme.

Restaurants

Local restaurants are nearby with 1 of them within 30 seconds away : 
 Fidanka.  Another favorite is just 5 minutes away, The Castle.  
All of the cafes, bars and restaurants of the Old Town are a gentle 
20-25 minute stroll away where you can enjoy the delights of Kalkan’s 
renowed roof-top restaurants.

Transport

Ketchy Villa is ideally located close to all amenities.  A car hire is 
not necessary and taxi fares are very reasonable.
However, if you do choose to rent a car,
there is a parking garage under the villa..
